Brand Suitability Rules Engine for Revive Adserver

Brand Suitability Rules Engine lets advertisers and networks decide which content categories a Revive Adserver campaign may appear next to. Rules are built on IAB Content Taxonomy categories, applied at delivery, and reported as block counts by rule, category and zone.
What it does
- Per-campaign lists of allowed, avoided and blocked categories mean different advertisers can run different suitability rules on the same network.
- Rules use IAB Content Taxonomy categories, so the category names match the language buyers already use.
- Suitability tiers per campaign (strict, standard or open) give a quick way to set a policy without editing every category.
- Page categories can come from any source you provide, such as the Brand Safety plugin, page meta tags, a category field from your CMS or a manual site and zone map, so you are not tied to one classifier.
- Legacy category lists can be imported from CSV, so an older list does not have to be rebuilt by hand.
- A block report counts blocked deliveries by rule, category and zone, so you can see which rules are doing the work.
How it fits your ad stack
The plugin applies category rules at delivery in Revive Adserver and works with the category the page or its source supplies. The IAB Tech Lab Content Taxonomy v3.0 is the standard category list for contextual targeting. The plugin does not classify pages itself, and it makes no claim of certification or compliance with any brand safety framework. It is a companion to the existing Brand Safety plugin, not a replacement for it.
